I do know. I recall mark telling my stories about the anesthesiologists he shadowed early in his choosing a field. They all had outside hobbies, other interesting that rounded out their life. Like Jolly. like Mark now too. We have those interests too, they lean inward. Eva told me about the book. More to share over coffee this week!!

Thank you, Cissy. It's hard to imagine our paths have not crossed in so long. I've not watched The Wisdom of Trauma yet, but will definitely put it on my list. Wishing you all the best today!

Very interesting piece, Annette. It's amazing how you use what is in your world to write about what is going on inside of you. Thank you.

So many perspectives, so personal, for all of us. This writing was very calming to me. Thanks Annette.

Have you read Anatomy of the Spirit by Caroline Myss? It's in my top 10 of books I recommend

when anyone asks.

As you know, my husband is drawn into many different hobbies! Maybe I should be grateful that his lean mechanical... our last fish died. Few weeks ago and he gave away the aquarium. The trauma book sounds enlightening! I need to read this one, so thanks for sharing the recommendation. It may shed light on my unproductive past year.

Great piece! I wish we gave people the time and quiet we all need to find the thing that makes time stop and energy flow. The thing that helps us find who we are. Computers were supposed to give us time instead they're specifically programmed to suck us in. Being true to yourself is much more difficult now, so the trauma sticks.

What a wonderful piece, Annette! I am also reading Gabor Mate's book and wondered if you've watched The Wisdom of Trauma that focuses on his work and his life?
