I loved, loved, loved this one—complex, multi-faceted, wise, true. There were so many ways I related: my 5-yr-old granddaughter 4,000 miles away; my confusing, sometimes contradictory feelings and embryonic writing about my time in rural Tanzania; the writing/beer in dank corners of my mind.

Sandy, I can only imagine that sort of distance with your granddaughter, esp. as we get older. I love the phrase "embryonic writing" which perfectly describes that out of body, yet still in it, sense. Thank you.

I really love reading this inspiration right now! I've been feeling like I was becoming a little stagnant. Time to evolve and move onward!!

Beautiful Annette! Evolution! I am trying so hard to evolve. I believe that at our very core, spiritually and scientifically, we are Light. Evolution is internal, stimulated by external events. The universe, and we, evolved from Light. When we achieve full evolution, we will be one with God and all Light. For now, we must keep evolving.

Thank you! I love the idea of keeping it internal in a way, keeping a flame alight with light, wherever you find it!
