This post made me laugh out loud! The story about ordering an underwear of wine: priceless!! I, too, had an incident where I wet my pants in school—but, in 4th grade, not 1st!! Lol! It was pretty horrible at the time. But, all laughing aside, embracing mistakes takes bravery. And LOTS of humility. Both qualities make us better writers and better humans, too.

I love this, Annette. So important to embrace the mistakes that help us grow! R/B: "Why do we shrink from view, faces as flushed red as a tart Chianti, when faced with the choice to shout out the correct answer or muddle in a mistaken one?"
